It's not like eBay will take the time to watch that video anyway.

So often the case with so many things...
Standards drop or they get taken over by negative elements and something that worked, ceases to do so. Or at least as well.

I understand is easier, but it is hardly "mandatory". Netflix is in love with TC!

Yeah, no problem matching the two. Same sensor. It's more about the potential difference in color rendering if you are using third party lenses on one camera and native Fuji on the other. It's still not a huge problem to match them as long as you shoot a color chart to help you.
I got a T4 to go with my T3. I'm glad I did. The IBIS isn't perfect, but if you learn how to use it properly, it does help. That's really the biggest difference besides battery life and the small size difference, on paper, since they upgraded the T3's autofocus via firmware. I've not done a side-by-side comparison to see if there are any differences.
The extended battery life can be clutch, too.

Programming is a tool to achieve your goal, not a goal in ITself. IT people should get some education outside IT, mostly if they end up deciding things that are not IT related, like color rendition or lens/sensor/crops on a mobile phone.

I do. Rolling shutter is terrible, dynamic range too. For the same price you have better options. Unless your only requirement is small body size.

Xavier Plagaro Mussard reacted to EphraimP in Redundancy
Because I shoot for nonprofit agencies mostly (that's NGOs for you non-American types 😉), the videos I shoot are pretty issue specific and not at all redundant. Just yesterday I was up in a wetlands restoration project that had been burned out in a major forest fire. The Forest Service and our local land trust are replanting it. The clips I got from it will go into a three-part series of social media shorts about how the land trust and its partners are helping the community and the ecosystem rebound from this devastating event. And I maybe be able to use it in a longer term documentary about the fire and its aftermath in context of climate change and the increase of severe wildfires in our region.
That's definitely not redundant content and I'm really excited/motivated to tell these important stories. Maybe the answer to feeling like you're creating redundant content is to find unique stories that feel like they have value to you and shoot them!

This constant release of new cameras is kind of a new thing. It used to be much more common for people to shoot with the same camera for 10 years. It’s all GAS anyways, no one actually needs any of this new gear.

It's a complete game changer. Red box round the screen. Red line on the back. Red tally light on the top. But because this isn't noticable enough, the record button is illuminated!

Yes the morale is down. Some went in far too deep at too high price. Many did not know what they were doing and gambled just far too much money.
However the real problem is the brokers preventing buys to protect their big clients and pals at the hedge funds. Sadly it wasn't just Robinhood. Almost the entire marketplace shut down the stock and blocked retail investors. That needs a massive legal enquiry.
People wanting to go in with their $100 should be allowed to.

It's hard to say it's gone wrong. It's so-called creative destruction. There's simply no need for a mass consumer camera market any more. Every home used to have a camera, be it a compact, a SLR, a Polaroid or whatever. No-one needs those any more because everybody (even the children) has a phone that will take better snaps with fewer skills, in a format that allows instant sharing.

I don't know about that. In many ways, I'd rather have a mega clear window that I can make as dirty as I like, than a window that's dirty to begin with. I could film something today, give it to 100 different editors and they'd all make it look different. In fact, I can grade something myself today and tomorrow decide I don't like it and create a whole new look.
Maybe that's where the artistry will lie? Rather than filming on a grainy 16mm filmstock and assuming that makes you an artist.
You also need to factor in lighting and set design etc. which plays a huge part in the quality of the final image. Plenty of artistry to be found, even if you're looking through a window.

I understand the stock market. I fail to understand why it is locked at real business. The stock market should be tied to sports, porn, even chicken fights. As long as it doesn't influence whole firms with thousands of employees.

If internet has proved something is that the same people who buys a 45.000€ BMW car or has a 1200€ iPhone, refuses to pay 12€ a year to read a website. Even if s/he thinks it is the most interesting website ever.
