After 4.0 firmware I would expect a huge rise price as it is now a new camera, the lowest in price for what it offers.

I think that Yihua did not say the whole truth and they are shipping but for testing, and it is not ready. When in April he was saying it would be ready for May-June was it realistic? At the end I think their clients patience will be compensate and the camera roks but meanwhile I've bought an ursa mini 4.6 and I'm very happy

 

Speaking about the Iscorama 36, I´ve put the taking lense at f:2 and IMO it is sharp. All depends on what taking lense it is.  (I'm use to the Nikon 85 F:2)

Normally yes. In this situation I had alot of natural light coming in through the window (although I was planning on evening sun beaming through). If I were away from the window or in a normal indoor setting, or was shooting in shade close to the subject, then YES it would be bright enough to bounce as a key.

Here I had the 120t directly in front of the subject. To the left of the camera. A little bit of diffusion.

I haven't done any side by side tests yet but I think it's about equal brightness to an Arri 1K. I own a 650w so I'll do a side by side test soon.

It´s my first video clip. It´s rap and the lirics here are very important. sorry if you dont understand spanish. But image is anamorphic. Perhaps you can enjoy it.

How do you see it, Scarlet compared?

I use to shoot with a 5D MKII and a 7D, and I´m agree that, when oversharpened in camera is very uggly. Regarding the GH2 I´ve seen some footage taken with vintage lenses, with details but no oversharpened, it has less vibrant colours, but for me that´s no important. I see details but no alising.

EF mount is frustrating for anamorphic shooting. I would like a Canon mirroless (so I could put any lens) full frame with crop mode. and then ask for the rest.
Excuse me, I don´t know englsh so well and I have to make an efford.
