According to Andrew's guide you need 83 MB/s for 1080p raw video. (Highly recommend the guide!)
My 64GB Komputerbay tested at 95.6 MB/s so I'm keeping it.

Andrew - I was inspired by this article and in particular the photo you posted of early Kubrick so I went out and shot some footage/location scout for a film called "The Moon Matrix" which is also inspired in part by 2001: A Space Odyssey and part Prometheus.

Lessons learned:
1. MUST use Tokina Diopter and +1 diopter closer than 5 feet! (was getting too close to the models and they came out blurry!)
2. Can't go completely handheld - MUST use cowboy rig at least. Tripod is best.
3. run-n-gun is hard to focus both anamophic and taking lens
4. almost NO light loss from Kowa :) -

I'm in the same boat - but after looking at what Davinci Resolve can do - It seriously shifts my thoughts towards the BMCC.
I have a feeling that as awesome as the GH3 is going to be - when the camera tests come out - it will be the same if not inferior to the hacked GH2 quality.
Time will tell - but this video seriously makes me want the BMCC over the GH3! -

I'll eventually purchase the GH3 early next year (January/February) but I'm definitely NOT getting rid of my GH2 - it is a classic! -
Why wouldn't you put the LCW ND filter in front of your anamorphic?
Seb Farges does this & it's a great look.
