Here is a quick HDMI lag solution for S5mk2 from Gerald:
S5 II Update: Regarding the HDMI lag, there is an option in the menu to turn off "Sound Output (HDMI)". Doing so will prevent audio from going to the external device, but will significantly improve the delay issue. Night and day difference. Not ideal, but might help some users.

I just don't agree that the L-Mount is all that weak on lenses. The f1.8 prime set from Panasonic is incredibly and their f2.8 zooms are as well (though big, heavy), plus great f4 pro lenses (16-35, 70-200) and nice affordable, high-quality lenses (24-105mm, 70-300mm, and now the new 14-28mm). And Sigma has an incredible line up of DG DN lenses now, whether you're looking for f1.4 primes (20mm, 24mm, 35mm, 85mm) or f2 primes (20mm, 24mm, 35mm, 65mm) or unique/small lenses (24mm f3.5, 45mm f2.8, 90mm f2.8) small but fast zooms (16-28mm f2.8, 28-70mm f2.8) or the standard 24-70mm f2.8 and 14-24mm f2.8 zooms.
Agree that Sigma needs an 50mm f1.4 DG DN and Panasonic could use a couple more f1.4 primes (24mm and 85mm), but it's a pretty darn full lineup and you could do almost every type of work with native L-Mount lenses - easy.
My problem is not knowing which to buy - The Sigma "i" series or the Panasonic f1.8 set - both are amazing.

I did finally edit a first version of the SA video.

    Canon R5c, DJI RS3 Pro, RF 70-200 2.8, RF 100-500, RF 400 2.8, EF 24-70 2.8. All shoot 8K RAW 50fps other than the Cheetahs running that are at 4k 100fps.

Some things that I've noticed just now.

    - Saw no photos of the card slots, but someone remembered that ProRes should mandate the use of CF Express cards; this could be one difference between both models (SD Cards only for the S5II, CF + Sd for the S5IIX.

    - The camera have active cooling. You can see vents underneath the front hump of the EVF and on the sides of it.

When this system was announced, there was a discussion over the internal rechargeable battery not only in terms of run times but also over longevity and if it failed would that be game over for the units.
At the time, I speculated that based on the power spec quoted by Sennheiser and the shape of the units then it was likely that it was going to be a standard off the shelf battery (a 3.7V/850mAh  14500) so not only should it be possible to replace a dead battery, it shouldn't be that much of a challenge to make it swappable if you needed really long run times in the field.
    So.....now that I actually have one, I thought I'd have a look.

And, yes indeed, it is a standard 3.7V/850mAh 14500 battery.
You can pick these up for less than £1 each and a charger will set you back about £5-7.
The connector to the board is also just a standard connector so if you really need the longer run times and swap out capability its pretty straightforward to fashion this yourself and have all day run times for both receiver and transmitter for under £20.
Now, where did I put that warranty form....

Just a guy, reading the same rumour sites as everyone else, but then decides to make a video about it with catchy thumbnail (expressive face, bold colours) and suppressing a healthy dose of scepsis, hoping to gain some traffic. He's not the only one using that technique.

Another year, I return with my traditional police Christmas video. This year a short film of a thief who climbs the walls dressed as Santa Claus, to camouflage himself as the popular Christmas decoration. Remember that it is a video that we make in which each roll is interpreted by policemen, not actors, and that the technical section this time is made up of some more members of the squad, where only 2 of us have audiovisual knowledge.
I hope it makes you laugh at least a small part of what we have laughed shooting it.

A greeting to all, and especially to Andrew.

I think Canon could really have to fix the R5C's usability, atm it's borderline usable but could be much better, like there is no reason not to shoot videos on still mode, or using dpaf Ii on cine mode as it is the same sensor! And only 40min on standby..

Did a shoot with my friend today.. yeah the R5C is perm fixed to the tripod lol.
Originally he was thinking of using R5C for mobile and C70 on tripod, but the usability of C70 is just make it much better overall.  I had the same feeling too.
I guess spec on paper is one thing and overall user experience is another, if you use camera everyday then usability wins hands down as you will want to use the camera that in sync with you than try to fight you each time.

Who would have thought R7 actually have more DR than R6 II on video mode?
The R5 is definitely the best investment I've done so far, 4K50P runs all day without overheating after the last update, and the few cam that does hdmi + internal recording + internal monitor display on.

I am actually not that enthusiastic on R5C after using it 6 months later... the C70 got a lot more use nowadays, and sometimes if we are out shooting remotely R5 get picked over R5c because of battery and weather sealing against all weather and condition.  We got a tiny sand stuck on the on switch of C70 which we have to send in to fix when we did a shoot on the dune, the R5 have no problem whatsoever.

So R5C is mostly a tripod camera with usb power adapter connect to the main for us nowadays beside acting as still cam.  My friend also use R5C as tripod camera with v mount battery while he roam around on his C70 too.
