  1. WARNING: Contains some strong language. Does David Lynch think a yappy assistant is trouble? Try getting clawed in the neck on both sides from Canon fanboys and Philip Bloom sheeples.

  3. Everybody loves Mr Undone. The YouTube bros line up around the block to circle jerk with handsome Gerald, but I for the life of me cannot find any of the great guru's shoots!

  4. Certainly not off limits in GB as long as not obviously cruel and unfunny. The meme was mischaracterised by Philip in his tweet, in order to turn his many thousands of followers on me. Many of them hadn't even seen it. So it's nothing to do with Britain. Our sense of humour is intact... Well most of us.

  6. Who will do it? 😄 https://kolarivision.com/product/canon-r5-cooling-mod-service/ I would consider it as a "upgrade" after my warranty is expired and I have a R5 Mk2 or R3 in arsenal or even A1 mk2.

  7. The IBIS isn't as locked off as the R5 or Fuji systems, doesn't act like a tripod, but it looks a bit more natural for handheld shooting. It has more free movement going on. The AF is superb. The image seems to lack a bit of mojo for me, the files look thin, S-LOG 3 is as difficult to get the best out of as ever. It really is a case of pick your poison with these cameras. Do you risk reliability problems with the R5, or go for Sony's more digital look to the files (even in 10bit)? Personally if you're really good at grading and tweaking the Sony color profiles in-camera, I'd go with the Sony. It is a real pity Panasonic do not yet have superb AF in video mode as otherwise I could recommend the S1H which has the best image of the lot.

    Experiments in sharpening

Interesting… Prior to Fuji XH1 shooting 1080 50p, I had no idea what I was doing. I probably still don’t but used the default. Moving to the XT3 and 4K, I went -3. Panny S5 and S1H, I think I am at -4 but am away right now on vacation so can’t check. Zero sharpening in post but used to use unsharp masking for 1080 as I found it a little soft. Might have a play when I get back myself but otherwise pretty much there with my ‘look’ based on the combo of; tweaked Natural profile, specific Sigma lenses and focal lengths, 1/8th mist filter, zero grade as such in post other than some basic stuff and then a single ‘like analogue film’ finish I had Aditya Varma make for me as a one off. Sharpening and skin tones are the only areas where I could maybe improve even further. Anyway, interested to see what you do @kye
