  2. Thanks Clayton, I have significant memory problems and I had completely forgotten what the thread was about. It's people like you who make life for the disabled that much easier, you clearly have no interest in the camera, yet you suffered through the entire post and then the entire thread merely to help me out! Most people with no interest in the camera just ignored the post, yet you, Champion among men, Hero among lessers, God among sheep, Giant among hobbits, Poet among the illiterate, you sir are just amazing, wonderful and epic. I hope my gratitude makes up for the time and effort you otherwise needlessly and selflessly put in.

  3. Two journeys, a plane into Macau, and the ferry to Kowloon, as the storm clouds come in. Panasonic G6, 20mm 1.7, neat video NR, ImpulZ LUTs Unfortunately the noise reduction means that banding is evident in the vimeo stream. It's a bit better if you download it. It got a nice review on Coconuts Hong Kong, which has never happened to me before. If you'll forgive me quoting my own good press! http://hongkong.coconuts.co/2014/08/08/video-fall-love-hong-kongs-typhoon-season-romanticised-wet-weather-treat

    BMPCC

i don't know why you are using autofocus at all. its a computer, even the best autofocus has no clue what you want! if you bought a camera with a professional purpose and only use it in auto mode, then send it back and get a refund. these cameras were meant to be used with the operator in full control and the bmpcc only has auto functions as a bonus feature. you should not rely on it for serious work

  6. The answer to your questions depends entirely on your aesthetic preferences and uses of your equipment. For example, I use my gear for planned shoots and so have a rig and several constant aperture Nikon-mount zoom lenses. I really believe people should buy what they need.. not what will sell better in future.
