  1. Everybody's routing for Canon, but they're like that dad that missed all your games. Yeah. He shows up late with a happy meal and a lipstick "C" on his collar. You just tell him it's okay, mommie's new friend Mr. Lantern was there. That's a f--kin analogy. Win.

    5D Mark 2 or 6D

It's the oldest, but I've had both. I'd take the Mark 2 over the 6D any day. I still love the image it puts out for video straight out of the box, and yes it does do Raw with ML. It uses CF cards also so the resolution should be higher. Both have a VAF mosaic anti aliasing filter available.

  4. Your hopes are far too high. Would it be reasonable and possible for Canon to put these things into a new body? Of course. But i've learned in the last 4 years they are just going to disappoint once again. Andrew I think standard DSLR video is still very much a need for people like me who shoot stills at least as much as they do video. I've borrowed a friends GH3 for a week and just can't bring myself to like an EVF. Maybe soon, though. I really want to love the OMD

  5. Standard DSLR is dead for video. Who the hell wants to get a 7D Mk 2 over a 4K shooting 10bit GH4, or a mirrorless full frame A7R?

  7. Hello, Thought I'd take a stab at it. Just a grade in adobe camera raw. Noise reduced and added. Sharpened a bit as well. Comments??

  8. The most important spec there is the 10bit/4:2:2 I'd rather have raw 1080p (5DIII) than 4K.... But if it really has 10bit/4:2:2 it becomes an interesting option.
