Last week I had my eyes opened by a cinematographer friend who told me about a time during the 1970s (the golden age of cinema) when Leica got in on the game and produced a movie camera.
A large sensor version of this, would please lovers of big cameras. The camera was programmed with hacked firmware to take stills and video, and a GPS unit would record the box’s location when it fell to earth on a parachute.
