Noob question: Rokinon/Samyang Cine lens focus ring teeth - universal ?

I apologize in advance if this strikes you as extremely noob, because it really is, I know. I've actually never used a follow focus before but I'm looking to get a few Rokinon/Samyang cine lenses because they come with the declicked rings and teeth for follow focuses.

My question is, are these teeth a "universal" size that most all follow focus systems utilize?

Also feel free to throw out affordable compatible follow focuses that can attach to a standard rod system.

The RockSam teeth should mate with any "cinema" style FF. The size (actually the gear pitch) isn't 100% standard - some ENG lenses are different - but in general terms, an FF made for DSLRs/etc will mate with the Rockinon, and with all the aftermarket lens gears from Redrock, eBay, etc. Some FF's sell various gear pitch drive gears for other lenses.

Also, a killer deal on an FF is the "Fotga DPII" - they're on amazon, mine was $170 or so, and you can buy spare gears and locking pins as well. Pretty shockingly good for the $$, I'm sure others will chime in with their picks.

Not a noob question really I have samyang vdslr mk II and and smallrig has m 0.8 -43T gear 3010  but can’t find in specs of lens to know if compatible

from the little i know, 0.8 is the standard.

Is that the smallrig mini follow focuser ? as i have been looking at that myself. Seems their about $95- 110 at the moment on ebay which to me seem like a reasonable price.
