danodan Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Hi guys, I'm trying to disassemble the front lense from a Zuiko 50mm 1.8; I watched a lot of youtube videos on this topic, but I'm still not able to understand how to do this. richg101 Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 It looks like the version you have is the one you cannot dissemble the front optical cell. I can;t remember off hand, but I think the earlier units can be taken apart more deeply than the newer ones. The newer version is manufactured in a quicker way with less threaded rings and more glueing meaning it is not able to be taken apart.
