GH5 DCI Or UHD With 1.33x Anamorphic

Which is the best aspect ratio to use with the GH5 when using a 1.33x anamorphic?  I understand that these adapters are created to convert an 16:9 image into a 2.35:1 image. But is not scope 2.39:1? So to get true cinema scope, which is the better choice when using a 1.33x adapter?

Forgive the silly question, but I am trying to understand. All answers welcomed.

True CinemaScope is a relative term, it was originally 2.66:1 as it was expanding a 4:3 negative x2. Later in cinema history it got cropped to 2.39:1 to allow the sound strip in the final edited film. At some point it became 2.35:1 or in some cases 2.4:1 and all 3 (2.4, 2.39 and 2.35) are academy accepted as wide screen formats. But 2.66 is the "true CinemaScope" and one could argue that it requires a 2x lens... So use what you want to achieve the format you want. The 1.85:1 with a 1.33 anamorphic lens gives you 2.46:1 aspect ratio (if the lens is really 1.33x).

2K @ 2.39:1 DCI ratio = 2048×858 pixels

4K @ 2.39:1 DCI ratio = 4096×1716 pixels

"Note: many say 2.39:1, 2.40:1 (“two-four-oh”) or 2.35:1, but nowadays these typically all refer to the same 2.39:1 aspect ratio. 2.35:1 was an earlier SMTPE widescreen standard prior to 1970, and two-four-oh is just an incorrect rounding from 2.39:1 to 2.40:1 instead of to 2.4:1."
