This will be a top quality monitor and recorder, in one, with 2 SSD slots, HDMI/HDSDI in and some cool monitoring tools. Even more interestingly, it sounds like it may well offer a solution for recording the 4K stream of the FS700. This could provide us with the first "ready to shoot" 4K, raw, 12 bit camera package to hit the $10k price point (assuming the Odyssey and codec comes in for about $2k).
