Phil A Posted October 7, 2016 Share Posted October 7, 2016 The G7 doesn't do HDMI out while internally recording. Was a deal breaker for me when I considered that camera. JazzBox Posted October 7, 2016 Share Posted October 7, 2016 I have both G7 and GH4: the G7 cannot recording internally while monitoring, the GH4 can. So you have to buy an external monitor/recorder in order to use it with the G7. I'm selling a brand new (never used) Blackmagic Video Assist 5" monitor/recorder, if you need it I'm here.
