hey there,

 

ive searched for quite a while and could only find workflows that go the other way around as im looking for. i want to convert prores .mov files to media composer compatible MXF files. ive read that this is actually possible with davinci resolve LITE(!) which is a free download and so i want to ask if somebody can help me with the workflow

I don't use MC much any more, but does it not convert the ProRes on import into MC? I seem to remember that's one of the reasons I switched to Premiere, no need to transcode.
