hoodlum Posted January 9, 2016 Share Posted January 9, 2016 This week Olympus announced a new 300mm f4 PRO lens for their m43 mount. This is the first Olympus lens with IS built into the lens and when combined with IBIS is rated for 6 stops of stabilization. Mirrorlessons just posted a video take with this lens and the 1.4TC handheld for a total 840mm (35mm equivalent). Canon's FF 300/4 is cheaper and smaller (and FF ).While olympus has an unbelievable IBIS, the A7rii/A7sii are not bad either and with A7rii you can get even more magnification with a 400mm lens, S35 mode and 2X clear zoom (1200mm effective!) in 4K (crop a 1080p from that and you have now got 2400mm...) : Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
