CKheat Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Hi I'd just like to ask what is the widest taking lens you can pair with a S35 sensor and the Kowa 16H/B&H 2x Anamorphic? I was thinking of getting a 40mm (pentax) or 45 pancake (zeiss Y/C). Tito Ferradans Posted November 16, 2015 Share Posted November 16, 2015 It depends on what you want for your final aspect ratio. If you want the entire 3.56:1 frame, then a 50 would do. Caleb Genheimer Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I use a Konica Hexanon f1.8. It is not a great lens on its own, but it is a pancake with very simple optics, which yields great results with the Kowa if stopped down to f4. I'm looking at getting the Voigtlander 40mm f2 pancake as an upgrade, but I just spent a lot on the rangefinder so it'll have to wait a bit.
