Well it was a wild guess :D But Canon make their money in the consumer segment. I would guess they dont even care about magic lantern. Maybe technically they could have done RAW Video in 2008 for a 50D but there was no demand so there was no supply. And nowadays they dont want to destroy their eos cinema line :>   And just to remember: For those who are doing video with dslrs ... the masses want do small workflows, little files, compressed formats. RAW is again for the small percentage.

  Because Canon is a mainstream company and even now that raw thing is out .... its 0,01% of their customers who are interested in that.
