  1. Hello, got myself a Sony a6000 and love it. However, I do not like the lack of fast native E mount primes and want to look at other options. I like the Sigma 18-35 mm f/1.8 lens which they make for Canon EF, Sony A mount, Nikon and Sigma. I need auto focus for my still photography as well, so the Nikon option will not work. Which mount/adapter combination would you guys choose to get the Sigma lens going on the a6000 with descent AF performance? I am in between Canon and Sony. Will AF work good enough??? Thanks a bunch!
  2. It is a Nikon. I bought an adapter F mount to Canon EF and it fits my EOS now. 30€ total, I am quite happy. I played a bit with it and it is much sharper than my 18-135 @18 mm in any aperture setting. This would also make a nice standard lens on the BMPCC plus with a Nikon to BMPCC speedbooster I could have two different lenses in one. A follow up questions regarding that, that is slightly of topic and requires a bit of an explanation first. I thought I might get a BMPCC soon but I am a bit on a budget so the 17mm Nikon lens would have to do first with a F mount to Micro 3/4 adapter. In the long run, I wanna use the new Sigma 18-35 1.8 everybody is so psyched about at the moment on the BMPCC. So here the question: Can I use the Sigma with the Nikon mount on the BMPCC with electronic aperture and focal control? The Tokina is all manual, so I will not be able to derive any information from that.
  3. I just had a though. The image circle seems rather small vor me to cover a 35 mm frame. Is that usually the case for wider lenses?
  4. It is not Leica R, and I do not think it is Minolta MD either. It says N/AI on the lens mount, and google thinks that is a Nikon mount. But it does not look any familiar to any Nikon I know.
  5. Hello, today I bought a 17 mm prime lens RMC Tokina on a yard sale for 6 €. The seller haggled really hard and did not want to settle for 5 :). I do not know what mount the lens has and neither did the owner, but for 6 € I'd use it as a paper weight if I cannot adapt it haha :) Pic of the mount: Can you guys help me, what mount is this? Cheers!
  6. Hi Guys, does anybody know, how the revolving shots on the new (awesome!) GoPro commercial were done, where the camera's shooting the face while rotating around the head? Since I first watched the video I keep thinking about how they've done it. I'd love to reproduce that! Here's the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3PDXmYoF5U Check out 01:10 02:18 03:37 04:45 04:48 Ideas?
