    • The 4K Fuji X-T2 is here
@Mattias BurlingĀ its not a PAL problem. This would literally be the first time I have encountered this. The Fuji XT-2 skips frames...hopefully Fuji will fix it in a firmware update if its brought to their attention

You can frame-step through some parts and still see the problem frame by frame. Having a p frame codec would not result in dropped frames when writing to card but corrupt data and generally weird stuff. If you framestep through the part at 1:42 going under the bridge it seems to speed up then slow down, taking small jumps then a big jump then small jump then two big jumps etc. Scene after shows the same type of thing. Does not seem to be OIS ether as even traveling large amount by boat in a line causes it. It looks like the capture timing have huge jitter to it.Ā  Someone need to put a counter in front if the camera and check. Longer shutter may lessen the effect and look better but not remove it. We need evidence in a controlled environmentĀ  Even a big rotating thing like a record player then map out the points of rotation and see if gaps are different distance apart would work.
Ā  youtube video seems to be 29.97fps
    • DJI just slaughtered GoPro with Mavic
You bet! : ) In comparison with the excellence a standard like 35mm film with all the sorts of low-grade variants from 16mm to video has led the motion picture for more than a century to faceĀ our eyes.Ā  Take a second read in my stuff. They are all the same shit, more or less. As said before, they can be synonymous of fun, personal use, even some inserts (de)pending onĀ certain circumstances and tricks. No more than that. A purchase can't necessarily mean a professional tool, as for instance. As same as a toy can be used in a gig if works. Mission accomplished. What's wrong on it? Just don't expect you'll become a race pilotĀ only because you're able to drive fast in the highway with your brand new car. The F1 from 80s, 90s or whatever year you want will always belong to a differentĀ league. No matter what techie pins they will try to sell the fanciest newĀ toy you/we all want to buy and playĀ with. So far, at least :-)
    • Sony adapters
After much thought, I have decided to get an a7sII as a B-cam with my NX1, I have a couple of Canon lenses which I will be using on the Sony, but now I dont know which adapter should I get...I dont need super fast focus, I will only use AF forĀ hobby photography and nothing major. I found the Commlite, but it seems to have some flaring issues, and the Viltrox III which...I dont know much about...what do you guys recommend, it has to be cheap.

The most horrid camera in comparison with what? Dji Mavic?....or Canon 1dc? Lets say you had mavic on your mind...where did you see its grace? Those early videos have been processed and gradedĀ in post from pros to look as good as it gets...and they still seem jittery & soft....Not trying to bash you here, just trying to undestand your statement. I am not a fan of GoPro either but you are saying that you will purchase mavic because "No Protune saves the grace or its absence" on GoPro. Cmon... in terms of "real" quality they are both S**T next to a mirrorless camera but this is not what we are discussing here, we are trying to find their pros & cons for casual semi-pro use...right?
