Here is a mind-blowing one from Japanese director Nobuhiro Suwa.



Part of the Paris, je t'aime feature film released 2007 which featured an impressive list of directors including the Coen Brothers - one to seek out on DVD as the rest of the segments are equally as impressive on the whole. Alexander Payne's especially.

Suwa's latest film came out last year (Yuki & Nina). I cannot vouch for this one as I've not yet seen it, but my Taiwanese girlfriend saw it at the Golden Horse Film festival and she said it was pretty good too.

The magic of this film is that it could quite easily have been shot on a 5D or 7D. It's simple - yet totally effective.
